Congress time! POLYTEC at the PIAE 2023

Over the period of two days, an in-depth discussion took place on sustainable technologies for the use of plastics in automotive construction. Various approaches were highlighted, including increased use of recycled materials, innovative processing methods and novel design for components.

We were particularly delighted to make an active contribution on exclusive keynotes. Together with AUDI AG, we designed a presentation on the topic of "Innovative thrust field in plastic construction for vehicles with shortened battery modules", focusing on partnership-based concept development, product optimization and the design of the subsequent manufacturing process. In doing so, we took the opportunity to demonstrate our passion for innovative plastic solutions to the high-caliber expert audience.
 

At the accompanying trade exhibition, we haptically presented the thrust field and underbody solutions for electric vehicles. Additionally, we introduced our novel concept for modular high-voltage battery housings for prismatic and cylindrical battery cells to the interested visitors.
