Keep learning, keep growing!

Learning never stops. This is also how we see it at POLYTEC. Our co-creators go through individual development paths and this is precisely what makes us successful. Through customised learning formats, external input, practical tools and a specially developed digital learning platform, we create optimal development opportunities for everyone. Here are a few examples from our recent past, which show how we live Learning & Development at POLYTEC:

Restart: POLYTEC Leadership Academy

Our POLYTEC Leadership Academy is entering the next round! Following a successful kick-off in April, in which prospective and existing managers were given a comprehensive insight into this year's programmes, the first two modules were recently held. The content of the programmes was specifically tailored to the needs and target groups. In the modules, experienced trainers shared their knowledge with the participants so that what they learnt can be optimally applied in the workplace.

At the POLYTEC Academy, the focus is not least on personal development and intensive mutual exchange. This promotes internal networks, which enable mutual support, encourage the exchange of ideas and facilitate mutual learning.

POLYTEC Academy: Quality training for quality management

Under the motto "Utilising momentum & finding constructive solutions", quality management team members from various locations recently came together at the group headquarters in Hörsching as part of the POLYTEC Academy. Topics ranged from how to handle challenging customer situations to how to deal with intercultural challenges. Many thanks to coaching expert Jens Stührck for his inspiring and valuable support!

Active networking and collaboration with other learners and experts are crucial components of the learning process and take our quality management to a new level.

Soft Drinks und Soft Skills

An unconventional breakfast! Our Learning & Development Manager Katja Hemedinger was recently invited as a guest speaker at "Leaders21" in the disused tobacco factory in Linz. There, over 100 HR experts and like-minded people discussed the skills required for managers and employees to meet the challenges of 2024. Katja Hemedinger provided insights into working life at POLYTEC and exchanged views on the importance of soft skills and emphatic leadership over freshly brewed coffee. Thanks to Leaders21 for the great organisation of this special event! Further information and pictures of this unusual breakfast can be found here: Recap Community Breakfast Linz - Leaders21
